British Mainland Challenge

The 1st  Challenge
(april-september 2004)



My route is approximately two thousand miles long with 100 km of ascent. Using existing long distance paths and National Trails for about half of the length, the route passes through over forty counties and six National Parks, visiting World Heritage Sites, Nature Reserves and designated Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty in England, Scotland and Wales.
